Weather Alert?

It always amazes me, living here in South Florida, how poor a job our local TV stations do for our visitors. If you saw the news over the past few days you would be forgiven for wanting to run out of town and head for the hills - a hurricane forms hundreds of miles away and the newsmen are thrown into frenzy! I guess it sells air time and advertising! Anyway, to get back to reality - yes there is a hurricane out there right now - "Earl" but as you can see from this hurricane forecast good old earl is heading north and South Florida is well out of the for cast track. So we can only predict good weather and a warm welcome at our Miami Beach Hotel this coming weekend! Hope to see you by the pool!

Snorkel Bus

A great way to cool of in the Miami Heat is with a trip on the snorkel bus tour! Snorkel trips start at just $65 and are fun and easy! Marseilles Hotel Review

We had an amazing view from our room of south beach and the room was nice and cozy. There's a pool and a bar and a hammocks for relaxing right in back of the hotel.There's a refrigerator in the room already filled with goodies the hotel provides, we didn't use them we just put our own beverages in there. The hotel staff was nice as well. We asked them how much it would be for an upgrade to an ocean view room and they gave it to us for free.The hotel was about four blocks from ocean drive but the walk is very breezy and you get to enjoy all of the stores as you walk. Maxines right across the street had the best breakfast so that's definitely the place to eat for brunch. Cameo and Mansion are around the corner from the hotel on Washington street, so everything is basically in walking distance
