It may seem obvious to many but you would be amazed how many people publish notes on Face Book telling people that are going away on vacation - this is an open invitation to trouble - anyone can quite easily do a little research to look up your address and voila - an empty house! So please always take care as to what information you are posting on your wall and monitor your kids online too - it could save you a whole lot of trouble later down the line.
